Our cats Poppy and Junior.
Poppy is the Persian in the photo, she came to us as a rescue cat when she was four years old with lots of health problems, but with lots of love, care and attention she lived a happy life until her calling in October 2002.
Junior is the Silver Tabby, she was our baby and still is the first pet we have had from the beginning of her life, she was an outdoor cat and had a very enjoyable and fulfilling time until her untimely calling just before her 8th birthday in April 2005.
RIP Special Girls until we meet again.
Love you both always.

Remembering You
Hi Girls,
Your Dad made me a DVD of you both yesterday and I watched it last night.
Junior the day we brought you home you were just 6 weeks old and such a little cutie, you won us all over, even Poppy who hissed at you a few times at the beginning. I forgot how you scared Cassie, you were just a little kitten, she was a 1 year old German Shepherd dog and she was so scared of you, ha ha, made me laugh. What about you with the frozen mince from the freezer, snarling like a dog because you thought we were going to take it from you. lol
Poppy, you were such a beautiful cat with the kindest nature. You didn't like getting groomed though and we had to shave you, it was funny seeing you like that again.
I will love and remember you both always.
Thanks for your love and for the memories, I will treasure them forever.

Beyond the Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

~ THE VACANT CHAIR ~
Your favorite chair is vacant now...
No eager purrs to greet me,
No softly padded paws to run
Ecstatically to meet me.
No coaxing rubs, no plaintive cry
Will say it's time for feeding,
I've put away your bowl, and all
The things you won't be needing;
But I will miss you little friend
For I could never measure,
The happiness you brought me
The comfort and the pleasure.
And since God put you here to share
In earthly joy and sorrow;
I'm sure there'll be a place for you
In Heaven's bright tomorrow.
Never Forget
Hi Girls,
Sorry it has taken so long to get your memorial up and running.
Still think of you every day and look at your picture which hangs proudly on the wall.
Forever in our hearts.
Love and miss you both.
